This spreadsheet calculates the amount of time your immersion or counterflow chiller will take to cool a given volume of boiling wort.

How to Use
- Measure the flow rate of your cooling water supply. The easiest way is to get a bucket of known volume and time how long it takes to fill (e.g. 5 gal bucket fills in 10 minutes = 0.5gal/min).
- Measuring the cold side inlet temperature (i.e. the temperature of your cooling water).
- Your next brew day, measure the starting outlet temperature of your cooling water and your wort. It is critical that this is a "Time=0" measurement.
- Enter all of these measurements into the spreadsheet, converting as appropriate to the specified units.
